CITY OF LOCKPORT
Reid’s burglary suspect identified
A Newfane man is facing a felony burglary charge after he was captured on surveillance video breaking into Reid’s Drive-In early Friday.
Justin L. Carney, 21, 6446 Charlotteville Road, was charged Monday with third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief. The surveillance video showed Carney damaging several cash registers. There was no money inside the cash registers.

NORTH TONAWANDA
SWAT teams raid four homes
SWAT team members in conjunction with local and county law enforcement raided four city residences Monday and made two warrant arrests stemming from drug investigations.
The raids, beginning in the late morning and continuing into the early afternoon netted “a quantity of drugs and cash,” according to North Tonawanda Police Chief Randy Szukala.
Mark Driess, chief investigator for the Niagara County Drug Task Force, said Tomell Brewer, of 341 Ward Road was taken into custody and was one of the main targets of the sting.

Niagara Falls
• THEFT: Police are investigating a theft from a beer delivery driver in the 1500 block of Pierce Avenue. The driver told officers that around 11:43 a.m. Monday a man grabbed a case of beer from his truck and ran away down an alley.
• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 2400 block of Linwood Avenue. A 35-year-old man told police that sometime between 7 p.m. Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday someone broke into his home by breaking a basement window. The victim said a 56-inch TV was taken.
• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 1100 block of Pierce Avenue. A 48-year-old man told officers that sometime in the month of April someone entered his property by kicking in a door. The victim said a quantity of copper pipe was taken.
Pendleton
• LARCENY: A North Tonawanda man reported Sunday that overnight someone stole the sign for the Pendale Development on Pendale Drive. The sign, a 4-by-8 foot golf leaf sign, is worth about $1,500, the report said.
Wilson
• LARCENY: An E Street man reported Sunday that someone stole a concrete angel law ornament, worth $200, from his lawn.
City of Lockport
n HARASSMENT: Allan T. Birkmeyer, 16, 14 Rochester St., was charged Monday morning with second-degree harassment. A family member told police Birkmeyer became upset about 3:15 a.m. when she told him to take his pants off because they had blood stains on them. Birkmeyer allegedly punched the woman in the right arm five times and pushed her against the fireplace. She called the police, and Birkmeyer was arrested without further incident, the report said. He was held without bail.
• DRUGS: Terrance A. Kelly, 25, 2175 Jerauld Ave., Niagara Falls, was charged Sunday afternoon with unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Walnut Street. The officer reportedly saw a piece of suspected marijuana on Kelly's shirt, and Kelly then allegedly turned over a small bag of marijuana. He was released on his own recognizance and is due today in Lockport City Court.
• CONTEMPT: Maurice Mackey, 27, 326 Chapel St., lower, was charged Sunday afternoon with second-degree criminal contempt. Mackey allegedly called a Corinthia Street woman and used abusive language toward her. The woman reportedly has an order of protection against Mackey.
Cambria
• LARCENY: A Carraige Lane man reported Monday that overnight, someone entered his vehicle and stole several items, including a Craftsman chainsaw, a buck knife, a pocket scanner, 40 hydrocodone pills and an Epi Pen, together worth $1,090. The suspect reportedly left an orange pocket Bible inside the truck.
Hartland
• CONTEMPT: Wayne Kelkenberg, 44, 3638 Orangeport Road, was charged Saturday with second-degree criminal contempt. An Orangeport Road woman told deputies she was coaching her daughter’s softball game at Lander’s Lane Baseball Field behind the Hartland Fire Hall when she turned around and saw Kelkenberg standing 20 feet from her. Kelkenberg had been served with an order of protection on the woman’s behalf a few days earlier, the report said. Kelkenberg was released on his own recognizance and is due May 20 in Hartland Town Court.
Newfane
• LARCENY: A Ewings Road man reported Monday that sometime between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m., someone entered his unlocked car and stole a toolbox containing various tools, together worth $200.
