• BURGLARY: Kenneth McNeil Jr., 20, 421 20th St., Apt. 1, was charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny about 2:30 a.m. Thursday, according to Falls police. McNeil was found in the area of an apparent burglary in process on 20th Street. Police said he told them he was trying to get in the home because his aunt, who lived there, forgot to give him a key. The home’s resident said she’d never seen the man before.
• THEFT: A 31-year-old 18th Street woman told police her ex-boyfriend took $714, a laptop computer he had given her as a gift and a vacuum from her home Thursday afternoon without her permission. A witness told police the ex-boyfriend came to the house about 2 p.m. and said, “I’ll get my (expletive) now. Her mother gave me a key.” While the woman was reporting the theft, police said the suspect called police headquarters to report that he had been at work all day and his boss could verify it.
• THEFT: A beer delivery driver reported Thursday afternoon that a group of youths took a case of LaBatts Blue off his truck and ran off about 1 p.m. near the Wee Two Bar, 3320 Royal Ave. One of the youths dropped a bag while fleeing the scene after another delivery driver attempted to stop them. Inside the bag, police said they found identification information including medical and school records.
• VANDALISM: The owner of Budget Host Inn, 6619 Niagara Falls Blvd., told police someone ripped down newly installed gutters on the building Wednesday night, causing $4,000 in damage.

• LARCENY: A Thornwoods Drive man reported Tuesday that overnight someone entered his car and stole a stereo, an amplifier, a subwoofer, a pair of prescription sunglasses and 25 CDs. The items are worth $950.
• LARCENY: An employee at Wilson Farms on Ward Road reported Monday that four 20-pound propane tanks, filled with propane, were stolen from a cage outside the store. The employee said she heard noises outside about 9:46 p.m., and when she went out to check, she saw a tan pickup driving off west on Niagara Falls Boulevard with propane tanks in the back.

• DRUGS: Kenneth R. Hamilton, 46, 5938 Kline Road, Town of Niagara, was charged early Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Deputies stopped to investigate a suspicious motorcycle carrying two men in a parking lot on Upper Mountain Road about 2:17 a.m. Hamilton, the driver, told deputies he was giving his friend a ride back to nearby apartments. Deputies found Hamilton was driving with a suspended license and he was reportedly sweating profusely and unable to speak clearly, pacing around during questioning, the report said. He emptied his pockets on the ground near his motorcycle and deputies found a bag of marijuana and suspected crack cocaine, along with a glass smoking device, which was still hot. The passeger told deputies they had stopped in the parking lot so Hamilton could get high on the way to Ransomville.
City of Lockport
• DISORDERLY: Anthony J. Cescon, 16, 241 Ohio St., was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct. Cescon was reportedly talking while sitting in the audience at Lockport City Court, causing a disruption in the courtroom. When an officer told Cescon to move to another part of the courtroom, he moved a couple seats over and sat down, the report said. The officer told Cescon to move to the other side of the room, and Cescon allegedly got up and used obscenities in reference to the officer. He was placed under arrest for using obscene language in the courtroom, the report said.

• DOG BITE: An Autumnview Drive woman told deputies she was walking her dog near her home Monday when a neighbor approached them, walking his dog. She said the man’s dog began growling and then broke free of its leash and attacked her dog. She took her dog to an emergency clinic for treatment. The other dog’s owner provided deputies with proof of rabies shots, the report said.
