• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 400 block of 19th Street. A 25-year-old woman told officers that sometime between April 3 and noon Friday someone broke into her apartment through a front window. The victim said 240 DVDs and a DVD player were taken.

• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 400 block of 27th Street. An out-of-town property owner told police that sometime between April 7 and 2:52 p.m. Friday someone broke into his vacant house by kicking in a side door. The owner said a ladder and a large quantity of copper pipe was taken.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on a drug charge. Anthony W. Jones, 40, 2997 McKoon Ave., was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and no seat belt. Officers said they stopped Jones at 2:53 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of 17th Street because he was driving without wearing a seat belt. After stopping Jones, officers found he had two ounces of marijuana in his possession.

• ARREST: A Falls man, wanted on robbery charges, was arrested for running from and fighting with police. Justin O. Gabby, 19, 820 Willow Ave., was charged with second-degree assault, resisting arrest, attempted fourth-degree criminal mischief and first-degree robbery Friday. Police said when they attempted to arrest Gabby on the arrest warrant he ran form his home. Officers caught up with him in the rear of a home in the 1500 block of Eighth Street and briefly struggled with Gabby before taking him into custody.

City of Lockport

• LARCENY: An O'Brien Drive woman reported Friday that overnight, someone entered her 2006 Chevrolet Trail Blazer and stole several items, including a purse, a wallet, several credit cards, a Verizon phone, a GPS system, an iPod and $200 cash. The items are worth$1,240, the report said.

Town of Lockport

• LARCENY: An employee at Olympia Sports on South Transit Road reported Tuesday that somoene charged $909.86 worth of merchandise on a credit card that turned out to be stolen. The card was reported stolen from Walgreens in the City of Lockport the same day.
