PET of the Week: # 39607: Momma Kitty

Short Hair, Spayed Female, 5 Years

Surrendered due to owner moved. Reported to be good with dogs & other cats. Nervous at first, she warms up quickly. Loves attention but can get cranky when picked up. A little overweight, could benefit from exercise & diet cat food. Needs help grooming her back end/tail area. Has a hard time removing extra hair from that area. Social kitty, follows us around & likes to talk. Content to lay at the top of her kitty condo for hours. She is hoping to find a quiet household of her own with a soft napping spot!! 6/8/09: Momma kitty has lost almost an entire pound now. Way to go, Momma!!!! Momma had a bath today, 6/24/09, & was a very good girl!! She absoluteley loved being brushed afterward!!! 8/6/09: Momma is still here. She is an independent kitty who now comes running to greet her favorite people. She has lost even more weight!! She has been keeping in good spirits, but yesterday her best friend, Dexter, was adopted. She has been here for 5 months now. Can you open your heart & home to her?
