Niagara Gazette — Public safety is critical to the life of a city. If our residents are afraid to walk the streets then we have lost the city. I’m not going to sugar-coat this: we know we have crime in Niagara Falls. I have supported Police Chief Bryan DalPorto as he set new initiatives and started walking patrols and bike patrols across the city. The police chief and his officers have my continued full support.
Being a member of the city council means taking a stand, be it popular or not, on those issues affecting the taxpayers. It means bringing initiatives to the table for debate and consideration. It involves passing ordinances and laws that promote public safety and thoughtful development.
I have had the honor of serving on the Niagara Falls City Council for the past eight years. With the valued support of the voters I will continue to work for our residents to make our city a better place to live, work, and raise a family.Samuel Fruscione is a member of the Niagara Falls City Council.
