Lonnie D. Ridgeway, Jr.

ANCHORAGE, AK —  

Lonnie D. Ridgeway, Jr., 59, of Anchorage, AK, entered into eternal rest on February 21, 2013. Born on September 9, 1953 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of Bunesby (Mathews) and the late Lonnie Ridgeway, Sr.
Lonnie lived in Niagara Falls before relocating to Alaska serving in the US Air Force. He had former employment in Alaska working on the pipeline. Lonnie was known as a lighthearted person and enjoyed the company of his family and friends.
Surviving other than his mother are six brothers, Lawrence, Edwin, Keith (Lisa) James, Jeffrey and Darryl, all of Niagara Falls, and Terrance of Lockport; five sisters, Sonya, Wanda (Ronnie) Jackson, Minnie and Adrienne, all of Niagara Falls and Tara (Marcell) Rodwell of Stone Mountain, GA; two sons, Lonnie D. (Amanda) III and Jeremiah; five daughters, Leah (Robert) Jackson, OH, Ulpenda (Winston) White, and Shannon Bennett, both of North Carolina, Jasmine Lumpkin of Oregon and Antoinette Tucker of Alaska. Also survived by a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Visitation on Friday at 11 AM in the Trinity Baptist Church, 1366 South Ave. Funeral to follow at Noon. Burial at convenience of the family. Arrangements by WILLIAMSON FUNERAL HOME, 635 Main Street.
