Douglas Edward Crane

Doug enjoyed many special times watching his daughter cheer for Villanova University basketball and football games.
In recent years, Doug and Rose supported the construction of the Clyde Barker Penn Transplant House. And, in the weeks just prior to his passing, he organized a donation drive for the Red Cross in support of the storm victims from Hurricane Sandy.
Doug will be most remembered for his devotion to his parents and family, his generous spirit, his unflagging optimism, and his unique sense of humor.
A celebration of Doug's life will be offered from 10 to 11:30 AM on Monday, Dec. 3, at the Newtown Presbyterian Church, Chancellor St. & Washington Ave., Newtown, PA. Services will be at 11:30, followed by interment. The family gratefully acknowledges memorial gifts in Doug's name to the Penn Transplant House, 3535 Market St., Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
