Lillian Koziel


Lillian (Wilkolowski) Koziel, 81 years old, passed away on November 23, 2012 at Oakwood Health Care Center in Williamsville. She was born in Niagara Falls on April 12, 1931, the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Wrobel) Wilkolowski. She attended Holy Trinity Parochial School and South Junior High School.
Mrs. Koziel loved caring for her family. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed animals. Many years ago, she worked at Walker's Laundry and later was a nurse's aide at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Mrs. Koziel is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Steven Garneau) Koziel of Niagara Falls and Mary (Victor) Woloschinow of Pendergrass,GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephanie, Richard and Alan Koziel; six great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew. She was predeceased by her husband, John Koziel, who passed away on September 22, 2009; and by her brother, Henry Wilkolowski.
Friends may call on Monday from 6-8 PM at the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 356 Portage Road. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 9:30 AM at Historic Holy Trinity Church, 1419 Falls Street, with Rev. Jacek P. Mazur officiating. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston. PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Memorial contributions may be made to Historic Holy Trinity Church or to the Niagara County SPCA.
