Helen P. Dolson-Brown


Helen P. Dolson-Brown, age 68, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 22, 2013 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness. Helen was born on June 8, 1945 in Niagara Falls to the late Floyd Albert and Edith Ann Dolson.
Helen was a very small woman in stature with great spiritual faith. The Lord, family, friends and grandchildren were her first love. Helen had a passion for word puzzles. She was a member of the Willing Workers Senior Group and past member of the LaSalle Educational Club. She was a member of Mt. Erie Missionary Baptist Church.
Helen was married to the late L.J. Brown. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria (Anthony) Lowery; grandchildren, James, Anthony, Jr., Quannyiah and LaNaisha; brothers, Floyd (Sally), David (Ardell) and George (Lalceland) Dolson of Maine; very close and dear friend sister-in-law, Gloria J. (Isaiah) Dolson-Robertson; a special great-niece, JaNesha Peay; and many other friends and relatives. Helen is predeceased by her brothers, Nathan Albert, Sr., James L., and Donald Dolson; sister, Margaret Dolson-Ray; and nephew, Nathan A. Dolson, Jr.
Visitation for friends and family of Helen P. Brown is at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 27th at Mt. Erie Missionary Baptist Church, 1153 Fairfield Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon. Interment for Helen is Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements by the WILLIAMSON FUNERAL HOME, 635 Main St., Niagara Falls, NY.
