NIAGARA FALLS —
Vanda L. Brinson, 82, of Niagara Falls, passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2013 in Niagara Falls, NY. Born on February 11, 1930 in Kenneth, MO, the daughter of the late Cleveland and Jessie M. (Hicks) Williams.
Mrs. Brinson was a longtime faithful member of the Morning Star COGIC where she served as Missionary and Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed her family and most of all she loved the "word" and attending church service.
She was the wife of the late James Brinson, Sr. Surviving are eight children, Elder Arthur (Tina) Brinson, Elder Jerome Brinson, Terroll Brinson, George (Laurie) Brinson, Sr., Marie (Lee) Dawson, Annie (Mo) Cox, Juanita Brinson and Jessie (late Andrew, Sr.) Payton; two sisters, Wanda Barlow and Geraldine Williams; two brothers, Willie B. Williams and Cleveland Williams, Jr. Also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Vanda was predeceased by two children, James, Jr. and Dennis Brinson.
Visitation on Monday at 10 AM in the New Jerusalem Revival Center. Funeral to follow at 11 AM. Burial in Riverdale Cemetery. Arrangements by WILLIAMSON FUNERAL HOME, 635 Main Street.
