Pearl Dorothy Laraba

GREENVILLE, NC — Mrs. Pearl Dorothy Laraba, 93, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday, at 11 AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, proceeding to the mausoleum at Pinewood Memorial Park.

Pearl was a native of Niagara Falls, NY and lived most of her life in North Tonawanda, NY. For the past 14 years, Pearl made her home in Greenville and was very active in the community. An attentative loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pearl is survived by Ronald (son) and Jane Laraba; grandchildren, Jamie and Jason Kennedy, Shawn and Janel Laraba, Todd and Tara Laraba and Corrie (Laraba) and Mike Schebell; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Arlene Dyrda and Josephine Ketch, Arizona. Pearl's husband, Gerald, and daughter, Judith Kennedy, have preceded her death.
