Alfred A. Arico

LADY LAKE, FL — Alfred A. Arico, 88, Lady Lake, FL, died on Friday, December 21, 2012. He was born in        Trenton, NJ, and moved to Lady Lake 23 years  ago from Niagara Falls, NY. He was the owner/operator of Wizard Methods, High Pressure Water Systems and was a bomb disposal technician In the U.S. Marine Corps, a former member of the B.P.O.E. and the American Legion. He was a college basketball referee and a member of the International Association of College Officials. He loved swimming, pickleball, golf and The Villages bowling leagues. He especially enjoyed Latin American ballroom dancing. Alfred and Sadie celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on July 19, 2012.

Survivors include his wife, Sadie T. Arico, Lady Lake; son, Gary Alfred (Lori) Arico, Niagara Falls, NY; two daughters, Theresa C. Arico King (Anthony) and Christina Arico Frantz (Alfred), both of Chapel Hill, NC; two sisters, Clara Smith and Nancy Poullos, both of Dallas, TX; six      grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janet C. Arico in 2004; and brothers, Joseph, Peter and Anthony.

A memorial service for Mr. Arico will be held at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake, FL, on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 3:30 PM. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00-3:30 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Villagers for Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162. Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Lady Lake, FL.
