Vivian Kay Stephenson

NIAGARA FALLS —  

Vivian Kay (Abel) Stephenson, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Niagara Hospice House. She was 55. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on April 15, 1957, the daughter of Catherine Jones of Niagara Falls and the late Donald Edward Jones, who passed away on February 19, 2012..
Vivian was a longtime employee of the former Goose's Roost downtown working as a waitress. Most recently, she was employed by Seneca Niagara Casino. A hard worker, when time permitted, she enjoyed quilting, crocheting and knitting. In her words, "My father told me to never settle for anything less than what you want. So please make all donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital so those children don't have to settle for a lesser life then they deserve. Please help them."
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Nickole Ann Stephenson; her son, Jeremy Paul Stephenson (Christine); her grandson, Andrue Stephenson; her brother, Franklin Abel; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday 10 AM. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
