Natalie B. Warszawski

NIAGARA FALLS — Natalie B. (Czerniak) Warszawski, 90 years old, of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2014, at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. She was born in Niagara Falls on April 22, 1923, thedaughter of the late Martin and Felicia (Wonsiewicz) Czerniak.

Natalie was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and worked for many years as a Legal  Secretary and also worked in catering with many of her close friends. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards, reading and especially enjoyed working in her garden. Natalie was an active member of the senior groups of Holy Trinity Church and St. Stanislaus Church.

Natalie married the late Casimer S. Warszawski, her husband of 54 years, on June 5, 1948. She is survived by her children, Elaine (Mark) VinZant of Derby, KS, Paula (Peter) Simon of Hamburg, NY, and John (Carolyn) Warszawski of Goodyear, AZ; her grandchildren, Katie (Kevin) Grant, Nicholas (fiancee Dawn) VinZant, Matthew Simon, Joe (Rachael) Simon and John Simon; and great-grandchildren, Eva and Zoe Simon; her brother-in-law, Richard (Shirley) Warszawski; and many nieces and nephews. Natalie was predeceased by her infant daughter, Amy; brother, Edward Czerniak; sisters, Jessie Copia and Ann                     Chervinsky; and her longtime friend and neighbor, Ann Placek.

Friends may call at the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 356 Portage Road on Friday from  3-7 PM, where funeral services will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM at Divine Mercy Parish, corner of Niagara and 24th Streets, with Rev. Jacek P. Mazur officiating. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Natalie was a very caring and giving person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
