R. Anne Dominick


R. Anne Dominick, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away at home on Friday, March 14, 2014. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on March 15, 1942, the daughter of the late Samuel P. and Joanna (Lonardo) Dominick, Sr.
Ms. Dominick graduated from St. Mary's High School and received an Associates Degree in Business from Niagara County Community College. She was employed for many years by the New York State Parks Commission as an  Administrative Supervisor and retired from that position in 1996. Previously she was employed by the New York State Power Authority. Ms Dominick was a devoted daughter, taking care of her mother for several years. She was a member of a local care givers support group. Ms Dominick enjoyed spending time with her family, doing crossword puzzles and reading.
She is survived by a brother, Samuel P. (Kathleen) Dominick, Jr., of Northridge, CA; a sister, Victoria (Daniel) Holland of Alpharetta, GA; two nephews, Samuel P. (Jody) Dominick III, DDS and Justin E. (Joy) Dominick, MD.
The family will be present on Thursday, March 27, 2014, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Ontario Avenue, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Divine Mercy Parish Church, Niagara and 24th Streets, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
