Nellie Beulah Cobb


Nellie Beulah (Crawford) Cobb, March 11, 2014 in Odd Fellow & Rebekah Nursing Home with her family at her side. Born on May 22, 1930 in Evergreen, AL, she was a daughter of the late Jenkins and Hattie (Powell) Crawford.
Nellie was a homemaker who enjoyed working in her greenhouse growing flowers and vegetables. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and spending time with family especially the grandchildren. Nellie loved to cook and entertain at home.
Surviving are her children, James S. (Debra) Cobb of Southside, AL, Audrey Woodworth of Wilson, Elvis R. (Tonia) Cobb of Lockport, Jacqueline Koeppen of Newfane and Barbara Rupple of Wilson. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; three sisters, Dolly Sasser of Derby, KS, Ouida Cobb of Norfolk, VA and Lillian Pugh of Pace, FL. Her husband, James M. Cobb, predeceased her on June 6, 2005.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 7-9 PM in the Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home, 270 Young Street, Wilson, where Funeral Services will be on Friday at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
