Albert (Rip) Reppenhagen of Lewiston, NY, born on May 1, 1927, passed away on February 28, 2014 at his winter home in Ruskin, FL.
He served in the Marines Corps in WWII and retired from Ironworkers Local 9. He owned and operated A&R Camper Sales & Service, and was part owner in Holcome Erectors. He was a member of LaSalle Sportsman's Club, The Moose Club and one of the original shareholders of Willowbrook Golf Course. He enjoyed archery, bowling, golf, square dancing, fishing and spending time with his family.
Albert is survived by his wife, Arlene of 65 years; daughter, Melodi Thorp (Terry), Niagara Falls; grandchildren, Pamela Smith (Leonard) Sanborn, Jennifer Aiple (Scott), Clarence Center, Cory Reppenhagen (Tiffany), Garett Reppenhagen (Therese), Ronny Reppenhagen (Jessica), of Colorado; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jessica, Samantha, Amber, Roman, Isabella; Sisters Elizabeth Wilder and Orlee Moore. Predeceased by his sons, Edward and William; sister, Lois; brothers, Edward and Hubert.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer'sAssociation of Western New York, 2805 Wehrle Drive, Suite 6, Williamsville, NY 14221.
