Elizabeth Prozeralik

WHEATFIELD — Elizabeth (Kelso) Prozeralik, age 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 25, 2014, in  Elderwood at Wheatfield.

Elizabeth was born on November 16, 1924 in Whiteville, TN, to her beloved parents, David and Nettie Belle (Phillips) Kelso. She was the youngest of five children.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife. She enjoyed being with her family and         especially her grandchildren. As a Navy wife, she was blessed to visit and live in many other cities and countries in her lifetime.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 62 years, Fred Prozeralik of Niagara Falls, NY; two daughters, Donna Prozeralik of Denver, CO and June (Eric) Swartz of Nashville, TN;  three    wonderful grandchildren, Eric Ryan of Niagara Falls, NY, Evan Swartz and Elizabeth Swartz, both of Nashville, TN; two very special and loved nieces, Beverly Lax of Bolivar, TN and Marie Duncan of Grand Island, NY; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of her precious baby of five days, Deborah Pearl Prozeralik and sister of the late Frances Hillman, David (Lucy) Kelso, Peter (Catherine)  Kelso and William (Lucille) Kelso.

Elizabeth suffered for many years with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. We will be forever   grateful to the caring and dedicated staff of Elderwood at Wheatfield for their expert and       compassionate care they provided to Elizabeth.

Private funeral services were held at the wishes of  her family. Memorials may be made in     Elizabeth's memory  to the Hydrocephalus Association, 4340 East West Highway, Suite 905, Bethesda, MD 20814; or the Alzheimer's Association of Western New York, 2805 Wehrle Drive, Suite 6, Williamsville, NY 14221. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery,      Lewiston, NY. Arrangements were made through the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, Sanborn, NY.
