Shirley M. Schmidt


Shirley M. Schmidt, 86, of Webster Groves, MO, passed away, suddenly, at home on July 7, 2013. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she served in the U.S. Navy for 8 years, graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla, and worked at Mallenkrodt in St. Louis, MO.
Daughter of the late Harold L. and Helen T. Schmidt; beloved sister of Harold C. (Pete) (late Edith) Schmidt of San Diego, CA, Frederick M. (Ann) Schmidt of Lewiston, NY, Carole Ann (late James) Clagg of McAlester, OK; the late Robert A. (late Betty) Schmidt of Lewiston, NY and the late Helen Buell of Latrobe, PA. Cherished friend of Helen Goertz of Webster Groves, MO. She will be sorely missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Shirley donated her body to the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO.
