Alice M. Urban

NORTH TONAWANDA — Alice M. (nee Jabczynski) Urban, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal life Sunday, April 28, 2013, in her 87th year, at Jeanne's House at Northgate Health Care Facility, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Buffalo, NY, Mrs. Urban resided in North Tonawanda for over 70 years and was a former employee of the Wurlitzer Co. She was a member of the former St. Joseph's Altar Society. Alice was an avid reader, enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, and       spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Wife of the late Victor Urban, who died in 1974. Dearest mother of Lorence (Lorna) Urban, Audrey (Charles) Stitzinger, Linda Schwaed, Erick (Fae) Urban and Victoria (Steven) Cohn. Proud and loving grandmother of Philip, Jennifer, Allison, Peter, Maxwell and Chelsea, and great-grandmother of Angelina, Joseph and Jeffrey. Predeceased by brothers and sisters. Also survived by nephews and nieces.

The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on WEDNESDAY, MAY 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271). Family and friends are asked to gather at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on THURSDAY, MAY 2nd, at 9:30 AM. Interment, Mt. Olivet  Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made in Alice's honor to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
