Frances M. "Toots" Sirianni

NIAGARA FALLS — Frances M. "Toots" (Archie) Sirianni, 86, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Sunday,        October 27, 2013, at her residence, while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Guiseppi and Carolina (Chiodo) Archie.

Frances was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1944. On January 18, 1947, she married Joseph D. Sirianni at Our Lady of Lebanon Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Sirianni predeceased her on March 28, 2007. Toots, as she was affectionately known to her family and friends, worked as an usherette and candy girl at a local Niagara Falls theater. She later worked as an elevator operator at the former Power City Bank and as a packer at Nabisco Shredded Wheat Company. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing and baking. But what made her the happiest was being with her family and seeing all her grand-children and great-grandchildren grow. Above all, what Frances wanted to be remembered for is that "Everyone should be remembered on their birthday".

Mrs. Sirianni is survived by four children, Rosemary Rowcroft, Joseph (Kathleen) Sirianni, Carolyn Newbury and Thomas Sirianni, all of Niagara Falls, NY; nine grandchildren, Jon (Erica) Rowcroft, Robert (Paula) Newbury, Marc Newbury, Joseph Sirianni, Anthony Sirianni, Nadine (Chris) Ambrosia, Michael Rowcroft, Thomas Sirianni, Jr. and Dominic Sirianni; eight great-grandchildren, Robert Paul Newbury, Andrea Johnson, Raistlin Rowcroft, Anthony R. Sirianni, Adrien J. Sirianni, Rhiannon Rowcroft, Christopher J. Ambrosia and Austin W. Sirianni; one sister, Rose (late John) D'Amore of Florida; one brother, Julie (Nyla) Archie of Alabama and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers, Sam (late Jessie) Archie, Ralph (late Josephine) Archie, Daniel (Frances of Niagara Falls, NY) Archie, Earl (late Mamie) Archie and two sisters, Mary (late James) Maloni and Theresa (late Dante) Bazzani.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-8 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Thursday, October 31st at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Duane R. Klizek      officiating. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
