Anna May Gourlay

YOUNGSTOWN —

Anna May (Ventry) Gourlay passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2013 with loved ones at her side. She was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on October 10, 1925 and spent many happy years in Youngstown, NY. Her loving advice, wisdom, and her wonderful laugh will be missed more than the words written on a page could ever express.
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Ventry Foreman and her husband, Ricky Foreman of Chippawa, Ontario; her son, Ernest M. Ventry and his wife, Tammy, of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Adam, Ryan, Elysia, Gloria, Dominic and Gianna; sister, Jean Gamble of Hamilton, Ontario; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Matthew Ross Ventry; and brothers, John Gourlay, Alexander Gourlay and Russell Gourlay.
A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family at a future date as per her wishes.
