Tracey Lynn Honsberger McClain

BUFFALO — Tracey Lynn Honsberger  McClain, 44, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 in Buffalo General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 8, 1969 in St. Catharines, Ontario, the daughter of Gary and Beverly (Carrie)   Honsberger of St. Catharines.  

Tracey was a 1984 graduate of Merritton High School in St. Catharines and attended the Toronto School of Business where she received her paralegal license.

On October 11, 2002,  she married the love of her life, the late Orlando McClain, and moved to Niagara Falls, NY. He died in November of 2006.

Tracy worked for the Niagara Falls Board of Education up until the time of her death.

She was an outgoing person who cared about everyone; she always wanted to know if they needed anything or could she help them with anything. Tracy enjoyed shopping, spending time with her kids, family, friends and her pet pal, Prince.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons, Duane Honsberger and Orlando         McClain, Jr.; one daughter, Chabria McClain, all of Niagara Falls, NY; one sister, Terri (Scott) Morrison of Thorold, Ont.; two brothers, Rick (Kathy) Honsberger of Niagara Falls, Ont. and Ron (Jackie) Honsberger of St. Catharines, Ont.; daughter-in-law of Ollie Jo (late Caesar George) McClain of Niagara Falls, NY and  a host of nieces and nephews.  

The family will be present on Wednesday, from 11-12 PM in the Trinity Baptist Church, 1366 South Avenue, where funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM. Arrangements were made through the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, Niagara Falls, NY.
