Irene H. Blach

NIAGARA FALLS — Irene H. Blach, 92 years old, passed away on September 26, 2013, at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Niagara Falls on February 4, 1921, the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Kaczanowski) Blach.

Irene attended Holy Trinity Parochial School, South Junior High School and was a 1939 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She was the office manager at the International Institute for 15 years and then was a legal secretary for Ralph Boniello, Sr. for 15 years, and retired in 1975.

She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church and their Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed taking walks, listening to popular and classical music, reading and working crossword puzzles.

Irene is survived by her brother, John L. Blach of Dundee, NY and her cousin, Helen (Donald) Clark of Lewiston. She was predeceased by her sister, Josephine Blach.

There is no prior visitation. Private funeral services were held with interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston. Arrangements entrusted to the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC.
