Kay M. Caldwell

NIAGARA FALLS — Kay M. (nee Watts) Caldwell, 54, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life, while surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, September 29, 2013 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in Niagara Falls, NY, following a lengthy illness.  Born on December 16, 1958 in Lewisburg, PA, she was the daughter of James J. (Connie) Watts, Sr. of Montandon, PA and the late Frances M. (Brown) Watts.

Mrs. Caldwell attended schools in Pennsylvania. On June 15, 1991, Kay married Paul D. Caldwell in Pennsylvania. In 1992, they came to Niagara Falls, NY. She was employed as an office coordinator for William C. Rott & Son, Inc.  

In addition to her beloved husband, Mrs. Caldwell is survived by five children, Tania (Robert) Vickerd of Tonawanda, NY, James (Melissa) Bowers of New Columbia, PA, Nicole (Paulette) Caldwell of Niagara Falls, NY, Derek (Laura) Caldwell of Niagara Falls, NY, and Kelli (Zack) Adams of Lockport, NY; four grandchildren, Kayla, Kiersten, Gianna and Dominic; one brother, James J. Watts, Jr. of McClure, PA and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her mother, Kay was predeceased by one sister, Donna (late Kevin) Clayton.

The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday, October 3rd, from 4-8 PM in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007). In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016; or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA  22312.
