Daniel James Kennedy

NIAGARA FALLS —  

Daniel James Kennedy, a longtime resident of Niagara Falls, died on Monday, February 25, 2013. He was 53. He was born in Niagara Falls on July 19, 1959, the son of Marsha (Seal) Kennedy of Niagara Falls and the late George Thomas Kennedy. He attended local schools and served in the US Navy.
Mr. Kennedy worked many of his years with the developmentally handicap, most recently with Rivershore, Inc. He also worked for Precious Plate and Praxair. He was an avid fisherman, enjoying the relaxing time with family and friends. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren play baseball.
Survivors include three children, Scott Porter of Ft. Meyers, FL, Thomas Kennedy (Tiffany Printup) and Naomi Kennedy, both of Niagara Falls; siblings, William Kennedy, Kathy Russell (Don), Shari Printup (Dennis) Steven Kennedy, all of Niagara Falls, Lori Lamkins (Steven) of Garland, TX; his adoring grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor, Tessa Kennedy, Zachery, Cassandra and Derek Kennedy and Christian Porter; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Kelsey Kennedy in 1999.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where Funeral Services will be held at 7 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
