NIAGARA FALLS —
Inez A. (Moretti) McCauley, a longtime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Sheridan Manor Nursing Facility. She was 91. She was born in Guilinelo, Italy on February 22, 1922, the daughter of Luigi and Amatera (Zampi) Moretti. In 1930, she and her family moved to Sayre, PA where she attended schools. In 1947, following her marriage to husband, Thomas J. McCauley, they settled in Niagara Falls.
Mrs. McCauley worked for Remington Rand, Ambassador Leather Goods and the former D&K on Main Street in Niagara Falls. She loved to work with electronics and technical things.
Survivors include a son, Thomas McCauley (Debbie Demler) of Grand Island; a sister, Leona Moretti of Sayre, PA; three grandchildren, Chiemi Williams of Coral Springs, FL; April Urban and Kimberly Urban, both of Niagara Falls; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a nephew. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. McCauley in 1966; her daughter, Louise Mae Warren in 2000; and her sister, Clara Kilmer.
Friends may call Saturday after 1 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where funeral services will be at 3 PM. The interment will be private in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY, at the convenience of the family.
