NIAGARA FALLS —
June M. (Noble) Stanley, longtime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility. She was 80. She was born in Cohocton, NY on June 29, 1932, a daughter of the late Osmond and Emaline (Hoag) Noble. She moved to Niagara Falls as a child and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1949.
She married Robert Stanley on January 6, 1951 and they remained happily married for 62 years, until her passing. Mrs. Stanley worked for years as a waitress at Mom's Coffee Shop and then Junior's Truck Stop where she was known as the singing waitress. She was an accomplished singer and enjoyed bingo, trips to the casino and animals, and was an avid Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan, but her greatest joy was her time with her family and friends.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by three children, Roberta (Keith) Sitzman, Karen (Mark) Rambach and Robert Stanley, Jr.; five grandchildren, Shelly, JoAnn, Tina, Ryan and Amanda; four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Trevor, Chase and Nikki; and her brother, Neil Noble. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sharleen (1988) and her brother, Edison Noble.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Ave., on Monday from 2-6 PM, where funeral services will be held at 6 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
