Mary Jane DeFazio

YOUNGSTOWN — Mary Jane DeFazio, 76, of Youngstown, NY, died May 14, 2013, at her residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 24, 1937 to the late Harry O. and Lula Bell (Miller) Fuller, Sr. She was a graduate of Barker High School and attended Monroe Community College.

Mary Jane married Rudolph F. DeFazio on August 17, 1962, and moved to Mumford, NY. Upon the death of her husband on June 22, 1980, she returned to Niagara County and launched her real estate career. Mary Jane sold real estate for 30 years, most recently for Realty USA in Lewiston. Mary Jane enjoyed cooking, gardening, entertaining, but mostly spending time with her family and friends.

 She is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Pehlman (Jim) of Carlisle, PA, Mary Beth DeFazio (James) of Michigan, Anne Louise DeFazio (Michael) of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Robert, Nicholas, Anthony, Samantha, Charlotte; a sister, Sally L. Kosut of Lewiston; two sisters-in-law, Sue Fuller, Carol Rae; and a brother-in-law, Dale Cheavacci; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Harry O. Fuller, Jr. and John M. Rae; and a sister, Gretchen A. Cheavacci.

Friends may call at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston, Saturday (May 18th) from 1:00 PM-5:00 PM, where her memorial service will begin at 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SPCA of Niagara or the American Cancer Society.
