Joseph J. Wright

YOUNGSTOWN —

Joseph J. Wright, 35, of Youngstown, NY, passed from this life, suddenly from a heart attack, on Friday, May 3, 2013. Born on November 22, 1977 in Lewiston, NY, he was the beloved son of Richard J. and Joanne M. (nee Dick) Wright, Sr. of Youngstown, NY.
Joe, as he was known by family and friends, was raised in Niagara Falls, NY. He attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1996. In 1999, Joe moved to Youngstown, NY. He was a New York State Certified Journeyman Bricklayer and worked alongside his brother, Robert, at Morris Masonry in Buffalo, NY. Joe was a member of the Local #3 Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union. He was an avid sports fan and especially liked the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres and New York Yankees. Joe also enjoyed fantasy football.
In addition to his parents, Joe is survived by two daughters, Keira Wright and Kylie Clark, both of Niagara Falls, NY; and three brothers, Richard J. (Paula) Wright, Jr., Andrew Wright and Robert "Casey" (Ann) Wright, all of Niagara Falls, NY. He is also survived by two nieces, Cora and Lyla Wright; one nephew, Roman Wright; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will be present to receive friends on Monday, May 6th from 4-8 PM in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007) where a funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 8:00 PM with Rev. Charles Lamb officiating. Private burial will be held in Riverdale Cemetery in Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club, 725-17th Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.
