NIAGARA FALLS —
Louise M. (Petricca) Deletti, 84, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully Friday, March 22, 2013 in Niagara Geriatric & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 5, 1929 to the late Florence (Siciliano) and Vincenzo Petricca.
A Niagara Falls native, Mrs. Deletti attended local schools. On September 7, 1946, the former Louise M. Petricca married Carlo J. "Charlie" Deletti in Sacred Heart Church in Niagara Falls. He died suddenly August 23, 1998.
During the late 1940s through the mid-1950s, Mrs. Deletti was manager of the Harrison Dress Shop on Main St. Then from 1956-1959, Louise worked as a secretary and attendant for the Spallino Funeral Home.
Louise's pastimes included working crossword puzzles and word games, reading, crocheting and baking for her family and friends.
Mrs. Deletti is survived by a daughter, Florence Jorgensen of Omaha, NE; five grandchildren, Daniel (Beth) Uber of Chicago, IL, Richard (Kristi) Uber of San Antonio, TX, Jennifer Jorgensen, Cynthia (Ryan) Dixson and Christine (Josh) Pusher, all of Omaha, NE; four great-grandchildren, Carson, Alexander, Amelia and Arden; one sister, Diana Bonomo of Rome, Italy; her sister-in-law, Eleanor Petricca of Clay, NY; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Louise was predeceased by her husband; her parents and her brother, the late Anthony Petricca; and two sisters.
The family will be present to receive friends (today) Tuesday, March 26th, 10:00-11:30 AM at the SPALLINO-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls, where prayers will be said at 11:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary & Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, at 12:00 Noon. Rev. Stewart M. Lindsay, OSFS, officiating. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends invited.
