John H. Swinford

NIAGARA FALLS —

John H. Swinford, born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 6, 1948, the son of John H. and Pearl (Critchlow) Swinford, Sr., died on Monday, June 23, 2014 in Hawthorn Health Multicare Center. He was 65.
John was a 1967 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. He was employed by Carbon Graphite for 28 years in various departments, retiring when he was 46.
He is survived by a son, John H. Swinford III; two sisters, Cheri (Richard) Sirianni of Lewiston and Annette Marie Swinford of Niagara Falls; his special friend, Terry Steck; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, John A. Barrett and David M. Minnick.
Private services and burial will be held on Wednesday at Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls. The LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., is handling the funeral arrangements.
