NIAGARA FALLS —
Lottie M. (Polonski) Nowak, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on February 5, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Anne (Motyl) Polonski and attended local schools. Lottie was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, a volunteer at N.F. Memorial Medical Center, a Grandma at the Center for Young Parents, and enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by her daughters, Peg (Doug) McClellan of Niagara Falls, NY, Mary Ellen (Greg) Haseley of Sanborn, NY, and Patricia (Andy) Kennedy of Florida; son, William (Diane) Malaskis of Connecticut; her sister, Dorothy Mazur of Lewiston, NY; 14 grandchildren, many great and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Stanley W. Nowak; her daughter, Theresa Sirianni; brother, John Polonski and sister, Stella Rotko.
Friends may call Tuesday, July 30th, from 4-7 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319-24th St., cor. Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will take place at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Entombment following in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, Lewiston, NY.
