Joanne Voyzey

NIAGARA FALLS — Joanne (Majchrzak) Voyzey, 59, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013, at Niagara Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. She was born March 5, 1954 in Niagara Falls, NY, and was the daughter of the late Michael and Clara (McCracken) Majchrzak. Joanne worked as school bus driver for the Niagara Wheatfield School District and was a member of the former Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, arts & crafts, bingo, bowling and traveling the United States. Joanne especially loved to spend time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Edward (Theresa) Voyzey and Judy A.(Scott Banks) Voyzey, both of Niagara Falls, NY; grandchildren, David Logan and Damian; great-granddaughter, My'Leigh; brothers, Terry (Georgia) Majchrzak of Kenmore, NY, Paul and Douglas Porter, both of Florida; sisters, Karen Vosilos of Virginia and Elizabeth (Gary) Meredith of North Tonawanda, NY. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jimmy L. Voyzey on March 18, 2011.

Friends may call Thursday, July 25th from 4-7 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.,           319-24th St., cor. of Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 7 PM, with Reverend Jacek Mazur officiating. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joanne's memory may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport NY 14094.
