James R. Chatterton, Jr.

NIAGARA FALLS — James R. Chatterton, Jr., of Niagara Falls, died on July 17, 2013, after a lengthy illness. Born April 17, 1958 to James R. and Nancy (Wilson) Chatterton. Jim leaves behind his spouse, best friend, and the love of his life, Mary Ellen (Galeziowski), whom he married on September 10, 1983, and his beloved and precious daughter, Lacey "Sweetie". Survivors also include sisters, Carol Ann Urso (David Parker), Debi Wilcox (Gary); sister-in-law, JoAnn (Georg) Belanger, Kathryn Coulter (Samuel); brother-in-law, Edward Galeziowski (Althea); nieces, Nancy Pryne,  Annette Miller, Amy Stubblebine; nephews, Ryan Wilcox, Bobby Urso and Sammy Coulter; several great-nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved four legged girls, Lila and Dolly.

Jim worked for years as an expert auto mechanic, most recently for Auto Fix on Grand     Island. He frequently spoke of and enjoyed the friendships gained from his many loyal customers. Jim was an "all around" handyman and could fix most everything.

He loved and cherished time spent with his family and very much enjoyed sharing a beer or two with some of his many friends or family. The annual family vacation to Chautauqua Lake was a favorite time for Jim and his family. He was a lifetime fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and also enjoyed watching the Buffalo Sabres and New York Yankees games. Jim touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Friends may call Friday, July 19, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where funeral services will be held Saturday 10:30 AM. The interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
