Gregory E. Melton


Gregory E. Melton, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, NY. He was born in Lewiston, NY, on April 2, 1971, the son of Barry L. and Doreen (Pressley) Melton of Lewiston, NY.
Greg attended LaSalle Senior High School. He worked construction for various businesses in the area. He later moved to New Hampshire before moving back to Lewiston in 2007. Greg loved cooking for his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Randy (Jennifer) Melton of Hamburg, NY; two sisters, Renee (Ken Baumgardner) Melton of Delray Beach, FL and Michelle Larratta of Spring Hill, FL. Also survived by four nieces, two nephews, one great nephew, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will be present on Friday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY, with Msgr. David G. LiPuma officiating. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
