Mary A. Williams

STEVENS POINT, WI — Mary A. Williams, 97, of Stevens Point, WI, died Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Ministry St. Michael's Hospital. Mary was born on October 24, 1915 in Medina, NY. She was the daughter of the late John and Edna (Parada) Urbaniak.

Her marriage to Norman Francis Waterson took place on September 21, 1940. He died in 1964. Her marriage to Steve Williams took place on September 20, 1971. He died in 1981. Mary had various jobs in New York and Wisconsin. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and crocheting.

She is survived by two daughters, Joan Doyle of Niagara Falls, NY and Elaine (Eddie Riske) Gosh of Stevens Point, WI; grandchildren, Debbie, Kim (Jerry), Kathy, Jerry (Mary), Brian (Julie), Jeffrey (Kelly), Eric (Amy), Lori, David and Eddie Jr. Also survived by 28 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers, six sisters, one grandson, Michael and great-granddaughter, Stacey.    

Memorial service 11:00 AM Friday, May 24, 2013, at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home 703 Second Street, Stevens Point, WI. Deacon Art Schaller officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Niagara Falls, NY. Visitation on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
