Maureen Polin, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on May 29, 1938, the daughter of the late James T. and Cecelia Nora (Hanahan) Supple.
 Mrs. Polin graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She moved to Lewiston in 1971, where she enjoyed spending time with family. Mrs. Polin was the wife of the late Eugene A. Polin, who died in October of 2003, they were married in Sacred Heart Church on September 29, 1956.
She is survived by her  four children, Eugene M. Polin of Niagara Falls, NY, William R. (Valerie) Polin of Naples, FL, Daniel P. (Amanda) Polin and Linda Pawlak, both of Niagara Falls, NY; four grandchildren, Randall J. and Marissa M. Pawlak, William E. and Celeste M. Polin; a brother, James W. Supple; and mother-in-law of Randy Pawlak. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Polin was the sister of the late Carol Ann Supple.
The family will be present on Friday from 4-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM, with the Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice. Entombment will be in the Holy Angels Mausoleum, Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
