Anthony Cubello, Jr.

BUFFALO — Anthony Cubello, Jr., 83, of Buffalo, NY, went home in peace to his Lord on January 31, 2013. He was born on July 4, 1929 in Niagara Falls, NY, a son of Anthony and Anna (Critelli) Cubello, Sr. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting and also played basketball in his youth. Tony spent most of his career as a local realtor in Niagara Falls and was past president of The Niagara Falls Area Board of Realtors. He was also active in church ministry for over 20 years and was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Buffalo.

Tony is survived by his son, Rev. Anthony (Mary) Cubello III; grandchildren, Christa and Michael Cubello, all of Cape Coral, FL; brother, James (Carol) Cubello of San Diego, CA; nieces, Maria Neu of La Mesa, CA and Judith Moody of Deming, NM; and nephew, John Cubello of TX. He was predeceased by his grandson, Anthony Cubello IV in 2002.

A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013, at 12:00PM at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 1700 N. French Road, Getzville, NY. A celebration of Tony's life will also be held at The Branch of Life Christian Fellowship in Cape Coral, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to The Branch of Life Christian Fellowship, 815 SE 47th St., Cape Coral, FL 33904.
