Devoted to her family, Mrs. DeSimone loved to cook and bake for them. She was especially known for her variety of Christmas cookies and homemade pizza. She loved to dance and listen to music. Among her all-time favorites were Gene Autry and Dean Martin. Mrs. DeSimone was a devout member of Prince of Peace Church and belonged to the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a life-time member of the Christoforo Columbus Society and was a former member of the Century Club. Her faith was very important to her and she use to say 13 rosaries a day. During the last years of her life, she was lovingly cared for by her daughter, Lisa.
