Grace Gurman

NIAGARA FALLS — Grace Gurman, 62, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed from this life on Friday, April 11, 2014 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in Niagara Falls, NY. Born on March 10, 1952 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Colleen (Miller) Gurman.

Grace was a lifelong resident of the Town of Niagara. She attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. For over 26 years, Grace was employed by Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, where she worked in their housekeeping and central service departments, as well as the cafeteria. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on River Road in Niagara Falls, NY.  Grace enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading.

Grace is survived by four siblings, Gwendolyn A. Gurman of the Town of Niagara, NY, Harold (Debbie) Gurman of Lewiston, NY, Rebecca Gurman of the Town of Niagara, NY, and Dawn Marie Gurman of the Town of Niagara, NY. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Frederick Gurman.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Sunday, April 27th, at 12:15 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2099 River Road, Niagara Falls, NY. A private burial will be held in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery in Lewiston, NY. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (297-9007).
