Adele V. Sieredzinski

LOCKPORT — Adele V. (Matusik) Sieredzinski, 87, of the Town of Wheatfield, entered into eternal rest on     Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Niagara Hospice House. She was born on September 14, 1926 to the late John W. and Anna H. (Mika) Matusik and attended local schools. Adele was the wife of the late Zygmunt "Ziggy" Sieredzinski, whom she married on August 8, 1953. They were married for 53 years until Ziggy's passing on March 27, 2007.

She was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Kostka, Prince of Peace, St. Joseph's (NT, NY) Parishes and was a current member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish. Adele was also a member of the former Echo Society and craft club, St. Stan's Seniors at Duke Center, Ransomville Retirees and a crafter for the Do Gooders. She enjoyed gardening, crafting and playing cards. Adele especially loved traveling with her late husband and family.    

She is survived by her children, Carol Falbo and Michael Sieredzinski; grandson, Jason Falbo;  brother, Myron "Mike" (Eleanor) Matusik; sisters, Felicia (Thomas) Loor and Dorothy (Robert) Cossar. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Henry, William, Matthew and John Matusik Jr. and her sister, Otylia "Tillie" Butski.

Friends may call Sunday, February 23rd, from 2-5 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.,       319-24th St., cor. of Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 9:30 AM Monday at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, 57 Center Ave., cor. of Oliver St., North Tonawanda, NY, with Reverend Gary J. Szczepankiewicz officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Burial following in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
