Leo J. DuPont II

NIAGARA FALLS — Leo J. DuPont II, 69, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY, following a lengthy illness.  Born on April 8, 1944 in Lockport, NY, he was the son of the late Leo J. and Mary Louise (Tall) DuPont.

Mr. DuPont came to Niagara Falls, NY as a child with his family and attended local schools. Leo was employed as a counselor for Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, as well as the First Step Program on Buffalo Avenue. He was an avid photographer and enjoyed fishing and wood  carving.

Mr. DuPont is survived by two children, Leo J. DuPont III of South Carolina and Aaron D. DuPont of Delaware; one grandson, Christopher DuPont and one sister, Rae E. (late Edward) White of the Town of Niagara, NY. Leo is also survived by one niece, Molly A. White of Niagara Falls, NY; one nephew, Edward M. White of Niagara Falls, NY, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will also be missed by his pet cats, Benny and Bootsie.

There will be no prior visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007).
