ULYSSES, PA — Lynn M. Van Etten, 84, of Ulysses, PA, formerly of Niagara Falls, died Thursday, January 23, 2014.

A Korean War veteran, he served honorably with the US Army from 1952-1954. He was           employed as a plant foreman/supervisor for Varcum Chemical in Niagara Falls, NY for 28 years.

Surviving are his wife, Vivian;  two sons, Tom (Eileen) Van Etten of Latham, NY and David     (Bridget) Van Etten of Murphy, TX; a daughter, Lynda Van Etten of Albany, NY;  a granddaughter, Alice Van Etten of Latham, NY; three brothers, Lyle (Joyce) Van Etten and Thomas (Sharon) Van Etten, both of Whitesville, NY, and Richard (Mary Ellen) Van Etten of Wellsville, NY; two sisters,   Evelyn (Floyd) Buckley of Bath, NY and Carol Cady of Westfield, PA; and nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a grandson, Andrew Van Etten; and a brother, William D. Van Etten.

Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Saturday, February 15, 2014, from 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon, with a memorial service at 12:00 Noon. Memorials may be made to the Tri-Town VolunteerAmbulance Association, Ulysses, PA 16948.
