James E. Robins, Sr.


James E. Robins, Sr., age 70, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on June 24, 2013 in Ocala, FL. Born on February 22, 1943 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Harry and Rose (Caccamise) Robins.
He was a dedicated worker and mostly enjoyed remodeling, building, carpentry work and cooking. Also, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Carol L. (Nichols) Robins, whom he married in 1976; five children, Scott (Christa) Robins and Karrie (Richard) Tavano, both of South Carolina, Debra Alvarez, Michael Laufer and Christine Patterson, all of Niagara Falls. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by three brothers, William, Richard and Robert also of Niagara Falls; and his mother-in-law, Jeanette Clark. James had eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews. James was predeceased by his son, James E. (Lisa) Robins, Jr.; great-grandson, Michael Maye, Jr.; and sister, Sharon (Kaveda) Charles.
A private service will be held for family and close friends.
