Jackie L. "Jack" Ambrosia

BUFFALO — Jackie L. "Jack" Ambrosia, 55 years old, passed away suddenly on April 20, 2013, at Buffalo      General Hospital, and was a donor to Upstate New York Transplant Services. He was born in Niagara Falls on January 29, 1958 to Dorothy (Hiscock) Ambrosia and the late Robert Ambrosia.

"Jack" was a graduate of the former LaSalle Senior High School. For many years he worked as a superintendent for Mainline Construction. He was a member of the former Echo Club and was a classic car and motorcycle enthusiast.

In addition to his mother, "Jack" is survived by his children, Amanda Ambrosia (Michael Smith) and Jack Ambrosia, both of Niagara Falls; his granddaughter, Ryleigh Smith; his brother, Michael Ambrosia and his sisters, Angela Jeffords and Terry Deane, all of Niagara Falls. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. "Jack" was predeceased by his wife, Mary (Rybicki) Ambrosia, who passed away on November 21, 2011. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Bobby and Mark Ambrosia.

Friends may call on Monday from 4 until 6 PM at the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 356 Portage Road, where funeral services will begin at 6:00 PM with Rev. Jacek P. Mazur officiating. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc., 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
