Judith Andrea Smith

NIAGARA FALLS — Judith Andrea (Makoski) Smith passed away, suddenly, at Schoellkopf Nursing Home. She was 68 years old. Judith was the daughter of Joseph and Sophie Makoski. She graduated from Niagara Falls High School and attended Niagara University. She was married to Henry Allan Smith, who predeceased her in April 2000. Judy loved reading the book series, Little House on the Prairie. She also loved music and old movies. Judy made friends easily wherever she went, but her joy and passion in life was her family.

Judy is survived by three sons, Henry Allan Smith II, Eric Joseph (Janice) Smith and Clay (Kristi) Christopher Smith; as well as two grandchildren, Ryan and Wyatt. She is also survived by her sister, Michele (Jim) McCarthy and nephews. Judy will be missed by her family and her special friends, Ann Dittly, Brian Stanish and Dorothy Ducatte.

Friends may call Friday, October 12, 2012, from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319-24th St., cor. Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 12:30 PM on Friday, followed by a memorial mass at 1:00 PM at Divine Mercy Parish, 24th & Niagara Sts., with Reverend Andrew Lauricella officiating.
