Sharon L. Brayley

NIAGARA FALLS — Sharon L. Brayley, 64, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 17, 2013. Born September 6, 1948 in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Frances E. (Rowland) Brayley and attended local schools. Sharon was employed at K&K Janitorial and loved to crochet. Sharon will always be remembered as the "Neighborhood Mother" because anyone who knew her knew she was someone who was willing to give you the shirt off her back, would do anything for anyone and treat everyone as if they were one of her own. Sharon will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, James Burress, Jr. and David Burress, both of Niagara Falls, NY; her grandchildren, Nevaeh, Gianna, Makyla Burress; sister, Joann Brayley of Lockport, NY; former husband, James Burress, Sr. of Niagara Falls, NY; lifelong friends, Maryann Ditillio of Niagara Falls, NY, Tracy Pecoraro of Pennsylvania  and Darlene Oppee. Also survived by her best friend/cat, Squeaky and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday, June 21st from 4-7 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319-24th St., cor. Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will take place at 7:30 PM. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport, NY.
