Marlo Muhammad Yaqub Grant Jackson

LOCKPORT — Marlo Muhammad Yaqub Grant Jackson, 30, of Lockport, NY, transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord on May 9, 2013. Marlo was born February 17, 1983.

Marlo leaves to cherish his mother, Margaret M. Jackson of Lockport, NY and father, Charley Jackson, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA, and stepmother, Sharon Jackson of Niagara Falls, NY; three brothers, Charley Talib Abdul Haq Jackson III of Paintsville, KY, Christian Jackson and Joshua Jackson, both of Niagara Falls, NY; three sisters, Michele Sneed, Chavon Allen-Jackson and Kesandra Jackson, all of Niagara Falls, NY; grandmother, Evangelist Bertha V. Martin of Niagara Falls, NY; one nephew, Eric Jackson of Parkersburg, WV; three nieces, Amira Jackson of Charlotte, NC, Anissa Harris and Faith Mitchell, both of Niagara Falls, NY; one great-niece, Eva Marie Jackson of Parkersburg, WV; also several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by grandparents, William Martin, Sr. of Niagara Falls, NY, Charley Jackson and Lillie B. Jackson, both of Baton Rouge, LA

Marlo loved the Lord and was true to his faith. Marlo also loved spending time with his family, producing music, singing, wrestling and gaming. He was always jovial, making everyone smile and laugh. Marlo was our big "teddy bear" who filled our hearts with joy and he will be missed dearly.

The family will receive friends for the memorial service Wednesday, May 15, 2013, from 1 to 3 PM at the Morning Star Church of God In Christ, 2903 21st, Niagara Falls, NY. Elder Leroy Robinson, Pastor.
