Carmella A. Nolfi

NIAGARA FALLS —

Carmella A. (Magliarditi) Nolfi, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Josephine Magliarditi.
Carmella was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. She was licensed beautician who owned and operated Carm's Beauty Salon in Niagara Falls as well as also operated salons in Niagara Geriatrics and the former St. Mary's Manor also in Niagara Falls. Carmella was a long time parishioner of St. Joseph's Church. She was also a member of the John Duke Center and Cristoforo Colombo Society.
Mrs. Nolfi was predeceased by her husband, Louis A. Nolfi, in 1977. She is survived by her son, Leo A. Nolfi of Niagara Falls, NY; two granddaughters, Dawn Marie and Carmine Ann; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by four sisters and three brothers, Connie Danlione, Louis Magliarditi, Peter Magliarditi, Albert Magliarditi, Josephine Archie, Angeline DiMasi and Ann Torcasio.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3-8 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Wednesday, May 15th at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY.
